8AM "50Miler Sightseer" This self-paced ride with will meander through the extraordinary hills and landmarks surrounding Emmitsburg. Selected by our local cyclists from amongst our favorite routes, a gps route will be posted pre-ride for more information contact

1pm - 4 pm Bicyle

Safety Rodeo

Kids have an opportunity to learn cycling skills taught by experienced cycling educators.  Bring your own bike and helmet or borrow one of ours! This is a drop in event.

10am Mountain Biking at Rainbow Lake

1:30pm Tour de Pasture

A fun five miler for all the cyclist here for the day to come together for this police escorted ride around Emmitsburg and our local farms. A perfect way to ease into a second go at the bar-b-q and to scout your best spot for the parade on Main Street.

10AM "Mountain Biking at Rainbow Lake" All levels of mountain bikers are welcome to experience the Emmitsburg Multi-User Trails, "just up the hill from town." This stacked loop trail system has terrain that varies from beginner to advanced. Our local shredders will be on hand to show you their most cherished lines. Meets at Rainbow Lake on Hampton Valley Road.

1:30pm Tour de Park

This short family fun ride explores Community Park. Perfect Opportunity For Beginners. Parents and children can do this together!

Bicycle Rides provided by Frederick Bicycle Coalition, Frederick County Sheriffs and Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts (MORE)

All cycling events are free. 
All cycling events require helmets.
All cycling events are "Wheels Up" at their given time.
All cycling events meet in Community Park at the tennis courts except the mountain biking.
